About the Lab

My name is Brent, and I've been archiving content for about a decade now! It all started years ago with my own family's tapes and photographs. Since then, I've been passionate about the experience that comes from having old, vintage memories easily viewable and at a high standard of quality.

I want to continue building The Playback Lab as not only a digitization studio, but also as a hub to implement and discuss new strategies and techniques from an archivist's perspective, preserve and repair aging equipment, and share my own personal work in film and photography.
